Val has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, with over 20 years experience working within the Oil and Gas sector. During this time, Val has been involved in IT computer operations, team leader and IT service technical co-ordinator roles, liaising with project implementation teams, in-house support and third party solution providers. Val’s strengths include delivering business led change, data analysis and migration.
"I am passionate about gathering user requirements and identifying risks within the potential solutions - resulting in the development and implementation of system improvements as well as system optimisation. I am also experienced in analysing business requirements and delivering business led change.
I like to look at things from a different angle and thrive on problem solving with a desire for continuous improvement. What I enjoy most is bringing my experience and understanding of IT systems and data elements and linkages to metrics, processes, and policies - mainly within the Oil & Gas Industry. I have the ability to support clients through system change configurations, and enjoy working with new systems to give the required results.
