Knowlege Sharing System Implementation
The Challenge
This project required Easthaven Group to implement a Knowledge Management System for our client which had global reach. This customised tool is an information environment which uses the client's standard tools and was developed to encourage the TU to share knowledge, information and encourage collaborative working throughout the worldwide network.
Approach
Easthaven adopted a 3 month plan which consisted of five stages of training and support, and encouraged a behavioural change within the TU members by increasing awareness of the benefits of knowledge sharing and responsibility for information creation.
Outcome
The goal was achieved and this resulted in highly improved time management, cost savings as information was better organised and easier to find, enhanced search functionality and improved collaboration company-wide.
